The Joy Formidable - Live Review

Tonight, I was given the opportunity to check out Black Bell Record's introductory band, The Joy Formidable.  That's form-id-a-ble for those of you with reading and or pronunciation issues.  The Joy Formidable is a Welsh three piece (currently residing in London) that I had known little about prior to the show, but I like to keep an open mind and an open ear.  As I approached Mercury Lounge on the cold spring evening, a line could be seen surrounding the venue as their set time neared. I walked passed the bar into the venue area and was surprised at how packed it was.
