Scenekids have an ample amount of electronic devices making their e-presence constantly known, and their music constantly blaring. Apple Computer’s release of the MacBook in 2007 created a 13 inch glossy screened headquarters for every scene kid’s internet activity.

From their iPods to their new default, to their latest post on twitter, to their live feeds on Stickam.com, the bulk of scene kids time (which is spent on the internet) is spent on their nifty little MacBook. Mac’s programs that involve the iSight are what harvest the ultimate scene-ness of a Mac Book.

Photo Booth has a plethora of settings. There are color changing effects, face warping effects (including the scenester fave: the fisheye), and even a really shitty green screen effect allowing scenester to pretend they too have been to paris, or swim in the ocean (cause it totally wouldnt ruin their $80 weave or anything).

Scenesters will sit in front of their Photo Booth doing their hair and makeup to proceed to take 500 pictures of themselves at a time. Or, while chugging the Smirnoff Ice and PBR when they ~*party*~, scene kids will take embarassing, drunk, pictures to plaster all over the interwebs.
Why is it that this function of not just taking one, but at least 50 pictures in a row, makes Mac Books, and scene kids just that much more scene?

iChat is the Mac version of AIM. Because of the built in iSight webcam, and the new features on the Leopard OS, not only can scene kids video chat with one another, they can video chat with TWO or THREE another! The video snapshot allows Sally SlitMYWrists to make entire Facebook albums of her chatting it up with both Andrew from Danger:Radio, and Pat Brown at the same time.

The MacBook combines Apples sleek design in white,black (for you scene kids that like to keep it goth), and now the eco-friendly titanum, into computer that shows off your sweet new hair extensions, as well as all of your famous friends (that, and how broke you must be after dropping a G on a computer). Without a MacBook, no scene kid is complete, and neither is this blog.
